AYURVEDIC MASSAGE
(RELAXING MASSAGE)
It combines the 5,000-year old Indian principles of Ayurveda and pressure points. Effective for balancing mind, body, spirit and facilitating the body to heal itself. It has several healing benefits but is primarily used as a preventive treatment. It improves digestion, blood circulation, and evacuation; it detoxifies, defatigues and enforces the body by balancing DOSHA. Encourages the regained balance of harmony by removing physical and mental tiredness; balances the nervous system, relieves stress, promotes better sleep quality, and boosts immune function. Skin and tissues become stronger while there is a tangible improvement in overall complexion. It involves a specific and effective sequence to each person’s constitution and needs plus the use of medicated oils.

KERAL PRANIC MASSAGE
(REBALANCING MASSAGE)
A very powerful traditional Keralian massage that both awakens and facilitates the pranic flow to restore the individual’s psychophysical and energy balance. Using a medicated specific oil combined with long, light and fast massage techniques, the recipient’s body is both reinvigorated and de-stressed since accumulated tensions are discharged and tissues are renewed.

PINDASWEDA
(BOLUS MASSAGE)
A pleasant relaxing body massage that is carried out with both manual techniques and herbal bolus soaked bags of warm oil. The whole body is both manually massaged and dabbed with the bags. Several benefits are provided: it relieves nervous tensions, relaxes muscle tension, promotes joint mobility, cleans the body from toxins, is useful for cases of Rheumatism, Arthritis and Arthrosis, re-activates circulation, decongests lymphatic deposits and facilitates the flow of prana.

SHIRO DHARA
(FALLING OIL ON THE FOREHEAD)
Shirodara is a meditative treatment renowned as a way to quiet the Central Nervous System and integrate mind and body. It is mainly focused on a continuous flow of medicinal warm oil that is gently poured on the forehead and third eye chakra, which is the energy center of intuition, renowned as ajna. It is given a preliminary body massage of about 40 minutes and then used to work on the recipient’s head with a warm oil pour of about 20 minutes.
It is most useful for alleviating Insomnia, and relieving Mental Tension States of varying degrees and typologies such as anxiety, panic attacks, burnout, and stress. This treatment leads to a state of profound relaxation, facilitates the release of the suppressed deep emotions, and can provide a feeling of refreshed awareness.

(MUSCLE MASSAGE)
An ancient Indian tradition, this is a muscle massage that has been used by Kalarippayat martial art practitioners. Pressure treatment that relieves body muscle tension and also facilitates a release of trapped emotional and psychologic mental blocks.

SHIROBHYANGAM
(INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE)
Therapeutic treatment carried out purely on the head using specific medicinal oils applied according to necessity. Improves sleep quality, concentration and memory, distends the central nervous system, removes stress and also prevents headaches. It treats and prevents hair loss and baldness, enhances problems of scalp dryness and dandruff, strengthens hair roots and keeps hair healthy.

Maitrī massage
Four-handed Ayurvedic massage.
This Ayurvedic treatment is performed by two therapists and lasts about 1 hour. It incorporates various manipulations of traditional Kalari muscle massage plus further movements techniques that are flowing and continuous to provide in-depth psycho-physical relief and energetic revitalization.
Maitri is a Sanskrit word meaning Loving kindness and embodies the essence of this massage treatment, which completely embraces the individual in a one-time sensorial experience, by being enveloped in a continuous flow of both pressing and gentle manipulations.

SROSTASBHYANGAM
is an Ayurvedic massage variation and is used for vascular problems. Three are the techniques:
NEERABHYANGAM
(INDIAN LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE)
A gentle treatment to restore the correct fluid balance in the whole body . Its execution could be described as “a body dance”-its technique focuses on fluid circulation so that it helps the body’s lymphatic and circulatory system to drain properly. An important reduction becomes evident after the first sessions as an impressive fluid release occurs and a consequent body slimming. This is a treatment which is suitable to all persons; It is recommended both for before and after surgery, after a disease or if one usually takes a significant number of medications as it facilitates toxin expulsion. It is also highly recommended for those with sedentary jobs, pregnant women and after childbirth.

(venous circulatory massage)
This treatment is practiced to enhance venous circulation; is cleansing and effective in treating venous disorders. It is performed with movements and pressure from the body’s extremities toward the heart, in the direction of venous circulation.

NADIABHYANGAM
(ARTERIAL CIRCULATORY MASSAGE)
As this massage enhances arterial flow by unblocking the arteries, its effect is reinvigorating and also rejuvenating. Useful also in healing rheumatic disorders. It is recommended for people with circulatory and mobility issues , emaciation, or for people with a sedentary job. It is also used for athletes before a competition or a major physical workout.

Choorna Abhyangam - POWDER MASSAGE
Choorna powder massages and treatments are based on the application of specific herbal extract powders all over the body for 45 to 50 minutes or so. By producing heat, this massage method is extremely effective as it produces therapeutic sweating to counter toxin accumulation, facilitate its expulsion from the body, and for slimming therapies in overweight cases. These typologies of massage also relieve fatigue states, lethargy and heaviness, muscle tension and stiffness, promoting cell renewal and skin care.

UDVARTANA
(anti-cellulite)
Massage for reducing inches and enhancing tissue quality as it has the potential for burning body fat. It improves skin state and keeps it looking healthy and resilient. Ideal therapy for treating imperfections such as Orange Peel Skin and stretch marks. Warm herbal powder, alone or mixed with medicinal oils, is scrubbed on the body specifically with moderate pressure. It is also a therapy given for problems related to a weight issues, such as obesity. It removes heaviness and tiredness . If combined with Neerahyangam (Indian lymphatic drainage) in a massage series, it has remarkable results on reducing fat mass.

(INDIAN PEELING/HERBAL POWDER MASSAGE
