I have been living and working in Esquilino for many years. Rome’s multi-ethnic neighborhood, where frenzy, dynamism, Roman heritage and its sparkling multi-culturalism make it unique and fascinating. Indeed, Piazza Vittorio is “the center of the center of the world”: different ethnicities and traditions mingle with the Roman chaos as in a frenetic and colorful merry-go-round that never rests.

Quoting the title of Virginia Woolf’s famous novel, SATTVICAMENTE Massaggi Ayurveda Roma intends to be a place where one can experience a dimension of calm, emotional, bodily and energetic self-awareness. The person has the chance to be regenerated, at peace and at ease in an all-dedicated setting. During the treatment reception, the mind calms down, is relaxed, releasing itself from all those restlessness, stress and myriad activities that daily life somehow subjects us to.

Therefore, is it actually possible to experience living well, being centered, in harmony with and dynamic in a context as chaotic as the Roman environment?
As Ayurveda teaches us, the source of well-being as well as imbalance originates within us and not on the outside, where we belong and live. Achieving centeredness and stability requires the cultivation of a detached and uncritical self-observing mindset to see, feel, comprehend and, thus, change one’s mental, physical and relational disposition.
